    How’s it going
Wondering if anyone has any experience with bilstein 6112’s and also if anyone has comparisons to the Eibach pro truck stage 2 / 2r shocks.
6112’s are 2.5 inch and Eibachs are 2 inch. I’ve heard eibachs are smoother on road but 2.5 is probably better off-road.
    Any ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks

Not a complete answer, just a piece of trivia regarding the 6112s - I've heard from a few people that the Tacoma specific 6112s seemed to be valved with the assumption that your swaybar is intact.

Not trying to start a swaybar debate - just a piece of trivia for your consideration.

Eibachs that you mention are more like a Bilstein 5100. 6112 as you stated is slightly larger meaning more fluid. Both are good options for entry level upgrades. I'd wager 6112 gets the slight edge due to size but really might be splitting hairs on what you'd actually notice in real life.

PS - Notice in your bio block that you have a 1997? If so, that's a 1st gen and experience may differ from 2nd gens since yours is lighter and smaller. May want to ask in 1st gen section or have this thread moved there if that is the case.

Currently have a 1st gen but I’m picking up a 2nd in a couple days and I’m starting to plan
