White's Collision in Burleson does great work. I've used them a couple of times.

Finally got the front end refurbished. Gusseted spindles are on, SPC control arms have new bushings and ball joints, CVs were replaced and a few other things done.
    20231210_150403.jpg
Old CVs were looking pretty sad, but good candidates for new boots.
    20231210_141652.jpg
I got a couple used CVs from LKQ but they beat up the end of one of them. I dremeled off 2 threads and got a nut to thread on with my DeWalt impact.
    20231209_125432.jpg
Front diff plugs were changed to a hex head bolt style to avoid stripping as easily. Fluid looked good for not being changed in 90k miles
    20231210_145205.jpg
The brake dust shields didn't cooperate with the gusset plates and rubbed the rotors. Just took a little beating with a hammer to get the clearance needed.
    20231126_092642.jpg
    20231126_095613.jpg
Rear bolts for the skid plate had been missing because the nuts welded in the frame broke off. So I installed some rivnuts to solve that
    20231210_150434.jpg
Also had some water in the front headlight so I had to pull that and drain it. Couldn't find where it's leaking but there was like a 1/4 cup of water in there.
    20231203_153131.jpg 20231203_155550.jpg
Next up will be rewiring my accessory lights and switches.

That sucks, I just went to a local place with good reviews when I needed work done. Dont even remember the name, it was close to me here in Wylie.

    Yeah man it sucks.

Found a few places near to get some estimates. Want to replace the leaf pack asap to see if it improves the drivability and will probably take my time to find a good place to take care of the body fix.

Whenever I have needed body work and someone else's insurance is paying, I just drop off my truck at the dealership

Bummer man. A Jeep hit my truck in a parking lot on Friday, but luckily he only hit my tire and steel bumper. No damage or much of a scratch, but his was messed up a little.

Hey all, new here and wanted to see - any meets or trail runs coming up? Def looking to start getting out with the taco and meet some of the community.

Also heard about Rigs & Coffee in Allen there, is that much of a thing?

Ah ok thanks. I hate those registration stickers. Wish it could just go on the license plate. Oh well.
