Yup, I had a 23 Tundra briefly (three months). The 24 Taco instantly reminded me of the 23 Tundra in terms of how light it felt compared to the previous generation, cheapened plastics, excessive noise from the air vents, doors didn't feel heavy like my 3rd gen, and the engine sounded like the Rav4 my wife had years ago. You can tell it was made to feel light. I moved from the 23 Tundra to my 23 Tacoma and never regretted it. One saving grace was that unlike the 23 Tundra, the Taco did not get the auto start/stop feature.

    Mine were close to $800..

I think the hybrid taco will be better or the manual

just a couple of things tbh
ya thats what my buddys tundra feels like... it feels light and cheap tbh and very noisy!
thats around what i was pricing tbh since i was looking at the lower end deavers. the higher end ones were a grand or more so i was trying to keep away from that.

hopefully im sure it will be good for the standard person that just needs a smaller truck but still kinda sad if its not a lot better then the 3rd gen

Not sure this one will pull quite to his satisfaction. 5 speed, though
