It’s hard to believe just how ugly the Cybertruck really is; I wonder if Elon was drunk when he designed this monstrosity and his ego wouldn’t let him admit he’d made a mistake.

Agreed. It's like a big paperweight. Fortunately, I was able to drive away and carry another load.

I didn't realize the cyber truck is so massive. Thanks for the comparison, it's a real-world frame of reference.

Obviously gawdaweful ugly, but it was pretty weird to watch it pull a Porsche on a trailer faster that the Porshe side by side. So wild. It's a weird time to be alive. 10 years from now hopefully they have all this EV stuff figured out.

Ohhhhh, interesting... We've been misled. Fine, keeping my Tacoma and buying a green 911. What a nerd, he put way too much work into that for clicks. Saved me from having to do the same writeup.

yeah, even though they kinda cheated by using the slowest manual transmission Porsche and only going 1/8 of a mile; in the 1/4 mile the Porsche wins.

if Elon had just made a normal pickup at a better price he’d have a winner on his hands

Can’t wait for mine, I see y’all hating but these dam Teslas are pretty dam incredible… got the wife one and she’s only using about $15-$20 a month in electricity to charge it and she can outrun a Zo6.

This is how I imagine a low resolution attempt to depict a Tacoma in a 80s/90s video game. lol

I’m sure you’ll enjoy driving it.

It’s too bad they were unable to deliver on the promises of 500 mile range and under $40k

If you only keep your vehicles for under 100k miles, EVs make a lot of sense

but with 30% degradation after 100k miles, I sure wouldn’t want one

It is weird to me that 40yr old DeLoreans look better? Not just the styling, but the metal itself.

    Yeech...
Good thing he did not design the other teslas... they would have gone bust!

Passenger cars are there; technology-wise... I would not go back to an ice vehicle. There is no way. ( Yes, more practical models at lower price points are sorely needed now... and better battery technology will also help - not for range necessarily - but for weight saving)

I still like the taco though. (But the ice is anoyingly quaint to me now... maintenance wrenching is less enjoyable post EV!)

I can't wait for a capable, practical, off road going full RV taco replacement....
