4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

I drove a Ford Lightning Lariat today. Man what a sweet ride. Now it’s got me looking at Tundras given the crazy pricing (at least for now) on the Tacomas. Like you I don’t need the size and it won’t fit in my garage and I’m on the opposite end where kids are almost gone so don’t need the people capacity too much. However, crazy Tacoma pricing has me looking. Plus I can buy a slightly used Tundra with most of the same tech you can get in a Tacoma so maybe…. I really don’t think the Tacoma pricing can hold but we’ll see. At least I’ve got something to consider and might come across a deal I can’t pass up.

 

so how are you swapping a 4cyl hybrid power train into that...further more why would you...seems like a waste of money lol

 

No I meant I think people would swap the TT V6 into the 250 LC.

Would have to be the hybrid engine though being the LC has a battery only no non hybrid

Chicken tax is true and still hurts to think about. The chassis cab loophole that allowed manufacturers to import the truck and add the bed later was closed.

 

Really? I've never interacted with an architect who was so....refined.

Looks like the max engine production is starting now....getting closer to trucks with the hybrid powertrains being produced.

I thinking the Land Cruiser and Tacoma hybrids will start production simutaniously.
