Interesting to hear those details. I am sure someone will find it useful enough to act. I think we have too few lessons here in financial prudence and too many lessons here is financial ... er ... well ... not-so-prudent.

Still not sure sure if your wisdom is worth depriving my 3rd Gen of some goodies.:cheers:

On the weekend, I installed the Meso Puddle pod lights (with switch) and although i forgot to replace the tape over a couple holes and broke a couple of clips inside the doors, the important parts are functional.

big thanks to @pc3coyote who provided a great walkthrough document with pictures. I would have definitely felt over my head without it.

For the money you're talking about, I vote for the goodies. If it was $5K+, I'd be investing.
And always remember: when it comes to money, do your due diligence at official websites.

Finally got around to taking pictures of my partial seat delete.
It takes less than 5 minutes to put the old seat back in, even though I've never used the seat in almost 2 years.

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
I’m just hoping if I do all of this then my tires won’t rub my factory mud flaps and I’ll know when I should really change my oil

Installed some $30 eBay seat jackers today. Pretty shocked at how much better the seating position is with them in. Disregard the dirt.

Luckily mine lined right up, took me 5 minutes to get them in before running errands. Love them. Sucks that it took nearly a month for them to come in on the slow boat from China though haha.

Got one on order! You do it yourself, or get a buddy to help? I hear it’s not too bad, just a bit heavier.
