$60.00 bones to order a set of folding legs, a couple of 1x4 grade 9 boards/skis and some of the cheapest chip board you'll ever see. I have no problem shelling out hundreds for the tiny shiny bullshit, but paying for the surface to work with, that hurts.

I have put the new ball joints on 3 trucks in the last few months, and have not heard complaints, but it’s only been a few months haha. Could be great, but idk yet. Warranty wise I’ve had them tell me it was abuse that caused it and I’ve had them not question a thing, with no major difference in the joints themselves

I wonder if SPC had off-road use in mind when designing these arms or if people just figured out that these solve a problem for fitting larger tires. If SPC had us in mind when designing them, they have to expect some degree of abuse. I'd be interested to hear their detailed response for how they identify it as abuse.

They sell to off road companies so has to be in there.

That being said, company/ Patent has changed hands at least twice since I had my Tacoma.

name and shame time: Red Hawk Roofing

I thought I was getting a higher quality shingle product as described over the phone and in person. I ended up with a different product at the same quoted price as they had switched it on the contract. Fine, that's on me for failing to read.

what I'm really pissed about is that they fucked up my new gutters by not using ladder standoffs (just a dent whatever) and by poking holes in the gutter with a stripping shovel while doing tear off. Again, not the end of the world, if they made any attempt to acknowledge or fix it. instead they denied responsibility but implied they would repair it next time I have hail damage and make another insurance claim with them as my roofer

had another roofer look at the gutter and he had no doubt it was caused by the roof tear off. I asked if they planned to do anything about my gutter before I posted online and was met with silence so here we are !!

edit: since the time of this initial post they have reached out to offer to replace the gutter run. will keep up with the updates lol

24 hour update: they have come out and measured the gutter, promising replacement in a week or two. I'm still grumbly, not the first time I've been promised something so we'll see if it turns out lol

edit: they had a crew come out and replace the 40ft section of damaged gutters. They are also slated to come paint some trim they replaced and left unfinished. for reference this is approx 1 year after they did the roof work because they forgot

My neighbor uses Red Hawk & they left trash all over our street. I would not use Red Hawk. Hell, put a tarp over it so it doesn't blow around. Whatever you do, DO NOT use All Season Exteriors. They were asking us to finish paying our bill when they hadn't started our siding and gutters. They were terrible, absolutely terrible. They have 5 star reviews and its complete crap. We never got a return phone call, they never checked their voicemail or email and this includes the owner. My wife yelled at the owner & said he's not getting any more money till they start working on the house again. Its was piss poor subcontracting. I cannot believe they wanted us to pay in full with only 1/3 of the work done. They ordered the wrong siding and we had to wait another 2 months. They even threw away my downspouts. Honestly, the 2 property/project managers where pretty bad at communication

maybe a silly question but will the plugs/watts not be different or does it not matter for this hobby?
