Middle Leaf Spring Fix

Called the dealership near me, they ran my VIN and said it doesn’t qualify for the recall. Unlucky

 

I was in this boat & I found used leafs online for $50 & they were in good shape. Keep checking craiglist & on here, you can find some for pretty cheap

 

Yeah my problem is I don’t have the tools to get it done sadly. I tried posting in the Virginia forum, nobody near me has responded.

I am in RVA, right in the city. I looked on Craigslist and I only saw a pack but they are in Yorktown. If you could find any that would be sickkkk

 

I'm actually from Yorktown/Gloucester originally but graduated from VCU. I'll look around & ask my brother if he knows anyone. How much are the Yorktown leafs?

 

I saw them for 80 on Craigslist. However I just ordered a rear passenger spring from a salvage yard in Georgia. Pulled them from the same exact kind of truck. Should be arriving Saturday, and taking them to a shop Monday for an installation. Praying things go well. Fingers crossed.

 

Found them for 45, plus 45 for shipping. That being said if your brother knows a mechanic who would be fine with installation, that would be awesome. Unsure if the shop is going to say yes quite yet.
