I’m at ~23-24* with my scientific iPhone angle finder. But she squats a little with the GFC, heavy ass bumper and spare, extended range fuel tank.

I appreciate the numbers!! I forgot to ask Dave and Jesse what numbers I should be expecting. Right now though Im not too into the angle numbers yet, not until I put my usual crap into the bed and get at least one day trip in the dirt.

Did you also lose wheel base?? I think IIRC someone mentioned the same problem over in the Long Travel BS thread recently.

48° over here. But my springs are pretty worn out. Think it was 42-45° when fresh. Goal was 40-45. Y’all need to pump up your numbers.

See. That’s why I have a minimal and lightweight rear bumper.

I’m also on the HD leafs and have the shackle in the lower hole of the hanger. It had a bigger rake before. Also forgot to mention my 270* awning that weighs like 50lbs.
But even with all that weight, she rides great with all the uptravel I didn’t have when I was SOA. Waiting for my front kit from JD so I can really put the truck and suspension through the paces.

So your pretty much identical to me. Thats a OVS 270 on the passenger side. The extended one too. Goes forward and wraps around. Heavy, but when needed. Its worth it.

I have not measured anything but believe I did a bit. Truck handles amazing. Considering so many build are trying to shorten wheel base, I dont see a problem. Are people saying its an issue with any lost wheel base? Its minimal.

I also did not measure before/after but at ride height my wheels seem to be centered. On droop, wouldn’t the springs push the axle forward towards the front? Since that is the direction the shackle would swing.

Only about 140-150 miles of pavement driving only after the install. Without any dirt miles I can tell say that the SUA install probably the best thing done so far to the Tacoma

What does a shop typically charge for an inner fender kit install?

You have everything everything for it? Stuff to adapt the intake already and such? Keeping battery up front? Theres a ton of little stuff that goes along.
Time wise, I'd say 16-20hrs easy

I still have to figure out those details. I figure now is the time to get this done if I’m going to do it.

Yeah it was probably 6-8hrs of disassembly and cutting the inner fenders out. Then an easy 10-15hrs of fitting the new ones up, reassembly, and figuring out little details. So yeah if it’s someone that’s done a few of them I’d see getting it done as quick as 16hrs? But the little things always add a bunch of time. We probably spent 30hrs or more on yours especially with the ump intake

@99ranged interesting that you speared it above the bumper.
yea, I'd have to go through and write down copy a lot. But the UMP intake, tubing, silicone tubing and adapters. A MAF adapter is just for the intake.
Then, you have to decide battery stuff. Keeping it upfront is simplest solution. Relocation adds costs and complexity.
I have a pic of the core support part number buried. To get it by itself.
I'd say as long as your not trying to get it done in a weekend to drive it to work that next week. It just takes time.

Can you tell more about the wreck? How fast were you going and what did you hit? Always wondered how the truck would react with a steel bumper and the crumple zones in an accident.

This happened on the way to a campsite with a buddy. He has a ram power wagon on 37s. We were pushing through some snow. I was behind him and this damage was from him reversing into me while I was stopped. Had to cut the trip short after that.
