Started going through my black raspberry plants, cutting out dead wood, pulling grass and weeds, and putting pine bark mulch down, only finished about 1/3 so far.

Plum trees can be quite robust. Keep them moist if needed. Throw a little tree fertilizer under it soon.

    We are the same way.

No potatoes this year, but I want to grow corn this year. Which means shooting coons.

started a couple seeds last week and tore up a new spot in the yard for an in ground garden. only doing 2 rows about 8ft long. not sure what the weather will look like this year as i've seen internet weathermen saying could be another dry year.
started straight 8 and pickling cucumber, early girl, pear, and roma tomatoes in peat moss seed mix. going to try to direct sow some of the seeds into the ground this year as well and see how that works out.

didnt have much luck in the raised bed the last 2 years so i'm changing up the strategy.

i do have a rabbit and couple squirrels to take care of as well:infantry:

So got a couple these last year towards end March, starting to see buds growing. On them. And the other stuff. Hoping to see some apples this year...if weather cooperates. Muscadines should be better crop this year also

Damn rabbits ate my entire Triple Crown Blackberry bush clean to the ground, plus they have chewed up several Black Raspberries.

Costco had strawberry plants in hanging baskets today. I was really tempted to grab one, but I don't think they'd fair well here in AZ. Plus I'm trying not to buy more things to move. Just signed a new contract with another realtor last week.

I have a red raspberry plant that needs to go outside this Spring. However l was reading you are not supposed to plant red and black raspberries near each other, need to find a spot elsewhere on my property for it.
