Alternative for the UNI Filter Mod to the Secondary Air Injection System

    That was my initial thought as well. But then again, Toyota design it like that for a reason. I just don't understand as to why Toyota don't advise to do any maintenance for it(?)...specially if it can cause any mechanical harm down the road etc.

    I feel like the SAIS in general is so useless that Toyota designed it as an afterthought, using the cheapest available parts and materials.

    Nice! Do you also use the oil spray after is cleaned? What brand you ended up buying, UNI or KN?

    Yes, I bought the UNI brand cleaner and oil spray kit way back when I installed the UNI filter and I'm still running on those same original 2 cans.

    I'm convinced the K&N branded cleaner and oil spray is the same stuff tho
