Anybody take delivery of the 2024 Tacoma yet ?

He is being sarcastic and making fun of everyone who decries comparing the 4th gen Tacoma to anything else and calling it apples to oranges because the 4th gen Taco stacks up horribly for the $ when compared.

 

What trim level and what location?

 

I'm very curious about audio upgrades for the 4g. While I have a OR deposit down I'm considering switching to the upgrade package for the seats and audio. Curious what a DIY system would look like/cost vs the JBL.

Not so many limited models....but these some of these dealers are really setting the bar here provided there are no games when you get there with dealer add ons. I would gladly fly to Chicago and drive 8 hours back home and save $2500+

Nice, hopefully just the start of price reductions. Like others have said on this forum, Toyota overreached on their pricing. Hopefully we'll start to see the laws of supply and demand take shape.

 

The discounts will come. It such an incredibly poor financial decision to pay ADM on a vehicle because that is additional instant "drive off the lot" depreciation that you cannot recoup. If you are financing it is doubleplus bad because you are paying interest on that ADM.

 

Gonna be mad discounts on non-hybrids at the end of the year… Because that’s the best time to buy a new car

 

I didn’t think the dealers would be stuffing their lots after the pandemic learnings, but they sure as hell are. I have no doubt they’ll load up on Tacomas. Then they’ll be pushing as many units as they can get their hands on. Volume means discounts.

 

Might be wrong here, but don't dealers have to buy so many vehicles per year to keep their franchise?

I didn't pay any lease end penalties, that's why I couldn't haggle the price, they were already cutting me a deal by not charging me.

Well, I might be able to tell you soon. Apparently you can squeeze some 12's behind the back seats. I'm not sure the woofer cone would have enough room. I'll let you know.
