Front edge of the first plank rest on a nail in the wall right below it. Then the tongue of the next board goes into the groove of the first board then these clips that snap onto the rails slide down and into the groove to hold that one up. No nails. Just put the next board up and slide the clips in to hold it up.

The easy up tracks and clips made it easy. This is the clip that slides into the board. You can see there is already a clip in front of this one holding the board up.

Coming out nice but ran out of boards. Only thing I didn’t care for was you have to leave a 1/2 inch gap between the boards and the wall for expansion. Then put up some molding around the edges nailed into the wall not the ceiling

Only lose 1 1/4 in the ceiling height. When I do the molding I’m going to just use 1” flat board.

Getting there! I have 3 floor display cases that I don’t think are going to make it in there. Need the wall space.

Perhaps you'll convince the wife to replace the bed with the floor display cases! Be like a museum with aisles! Hahaha

Trying. I don’t want the bed in there but she wants it for guests. It’s a queen size so lots of wall space behind it.

At first, I was thinking you where putting slots on the ceiling to hold and line your ceiling with packaged Hot Wheels.

No but not a bad idea. I was thinking of using racetrack for the molding on the edge and putting cars on it.
