Our Spanish speaking community is the fastest growing segment of our membership base. I'm looking to get this invitation translated to Spanish. I'm excited about doing this.

I just had a conversation with a coworker that I wanted very much to sympathize with but it would have revealed my position too much. Poor guy is in a rough spot though and we are both in the same spot realistically.

the regular model we use here in the studio, both her and her husband have Range Rovers and she's always telling me about how one or both of them needs to go back to the shop and how expensive it is. I'm just like....why. Why do this to yourself lol.

Well, when they work, they are phenomenal. Lots of power, sublime ride, luxurious interior, extremely practical/capable. Most people don't understand the maintenance costs, but if you can stomach them, and have a backup car, they are great trucks and depreciation is your friend. I know this is tough for this crowd here to understand.

Dropped off my Disco 2 at a local specialist a couple days ago.
It needs stuff. But it's 20 years old.
Repair costs are comparable to a Land Cruiser, on a one for one basis. It's just the frequency of repairs is higher.
But the LRs cost a fraction of the comparable LC to acquire.
In the end, it's probably close to a wash over the period of ownership.

I paid 8 grand for a pristine 2 owner, low mile D2. The equivalent 100 Series (or 80) woulda been $20-25+++. That delta pays for a lot of repairs.
I wouldn't trust the D2 on a roadtrip out of the area, though. Where I would take our 260K mile 100 Series, in a heartbeat.

    Fenders? Brakes?
Good luck getting the tongue weight right with a single axle.

Fenders I'd just make my own, as well as the rest of what's needed

Just looking at it as a "frame and axle" setup and was stumped at it being a single axle for that size; but your comment about a single axle just reinforces my skepticism

I'll offer $500 and see if he/she bites
