:frusty: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue; from the house of the semi-broken people. Waiting on a call from the Orthopedist, then we'll be off to somewhere - probably Kyle, nearby. Thanks for the well wishes for the wifey - I noticed no one said SHE should consider not playing! Her friends are all volunteering to help us out, and that's great (if impossible to keep track of at the moment). And anything I figure out to cook, has to be for one handed eating!

Glad you all enjoyed the Mustang. I have never seen a P51-C in person, only the famous D. It is amazing the variations of all the planes during WWII - try this, do that, and only what you can draw on paper and slide rule. Wow! And YES, there were some intentional 2 seat P51's made - but it's hard to track. There was a contract to build a trainer version, but cancelled at last minute.

Would it make a difference  most gals don't want the advice from someone else. The doctor would be someone to give that advice.:fingerscrossed:

I see everyone shares the same will to live as I do! She will barely listen to the Dr. as well, but at least with a splint and sling, not much she's gonna do about it!

    Thanks, Sue @ImpulseRed008

OUCH! I hope she heals fast and gets back to her golfing!

My wife slipped off a step at my daughter's wedding. The knee has bothered her since. The X-ray was clear, but he was still bothered, so an MRI was done—microfractures on the head of the humerus. There's not much to be done other than staying off it.

I'm getting back into riding. Big ride coming up in July. 420 miles, six days, and lots of hills.

    https://ragbrai.com/science-can-hap...eads-to-breakthrough-for-parkinsons-research/

Eighty-mile bike ride may seem brutal, but break it into 20 miles, pie break, repeat three more times, and it's easy peasy!

LOL! that's cruel pickleball, NOT golf. She has yet to touch the clubs I got her two Christmas ago - except to move them around the spare room. She took up pickleball. I was trying to get her to spend some time outside, not in meetings - haven't yet. My first attempt to join the beginners at p'ball cost me my bruised ribs. Yesterday, she broke her wrist. When she has no weapons at her side, I will explain again that golf is very safe!

Very kind of you to say!
The peninsula is so enchanting and obviously our Tacomas love it... TRD was created from racing it, and many of us (me included) have a Tacoma built in Baja California!

Just one of a thousand + places to camp... Playa el Coyote, Bahía Concepción, between Mulegé and Loreto:

    Afternoon all:
Just looked outside and it is raining, supposed to also rain tomorrow, then get really cold, and then warm up quite a bit.
I need this snow to be gone so I can get to work on the multiple downed branches in the yard, and also the downed tree that I have to clean up. :annoyed:

Looks like the first moon landing in 50 years is going to happen shortly, sure took them long enough to return there although there are those that say we were never there!

While that would be fun... I can't give you any date. However, I am more than happy to provide you with any ideas, details, or other guide assistance so you can experience the best of Baja for what you like to see and do.

Everything is on my website, www.vivabaja.com but with so much there, I understand if you may need a bit of help finding things.

Last week, Hangar Day was seemingly just the cumulation of electric stuff failing on me. That's mostly why it was a lousy day.
    • Monday, while I was yard working, my cool EGo trimmer refused to take new line. It went "manual feed" right after I thought the warranty was over - I just googled why it would not wind the trim line like it should, and the "community" all said theirs failed right after warranty. You had to hold the head - this time that would not even work.
    • On the way to the hangar, my little Garmin started the constant reboot failure - which had marked the end of my other rebuilt ones.
    • And when I get there, my fully charged little "boom brick" (portable BlueTooth speaker) lasted only one song and quit. Charged it in the Den the rest of the morning, but that was it. Dead. Looked at taking it apart the next day, but the little hex screws were not real. Dead brick.
But not all that started bad ended bad - just got buried under busted up ribs, and the wifes fractured wrist! In reverse order...

    • The "boom brick" I had is gone. But there is a new version for $39, which is $30 less. I was very happy with the old, so, I will be happy with the new I have to hope.
    • I got on line with Garmin though Amazon, and got a very good Tech to chat with. Suggestion - yours can't handle that 64G memory you have, try sticking in a 32G - that's the max (they didn't say that in the on-line instructions). Haven't been far, but has worked ever since.
    • So, found my EGo link, see if I can get any help. HEY, says I have 5 year warranty, and mine is 4 years old. You have to call them, but YES, that's the case, and YES that problem finally was admitted to be a failure in design, BUT, we will send you the current version via UPS at no charge! About had a heart attack! And, on the way to take wife to the Dr. for the wrist, there is a huge box in front of the door. Trimmer only, but box is HUGE.

Dang - that's a lot of AirPak! Too much to even get out of the way today.

That is too cool! Is it a restoration, a smaller scale reproduction or a full size small recent build?
