I fucking love lamb. Used to get lamb steaks as they were cheaper and tastier than beef steaks until i couldn't find them anymore. Usually did a thyme based rub on them.

Also the mongolian grill near me usually has shaved lamb meat and my bowls are mostly an 80/20 lamb to noodle and veggie ratio.

 

Hey i know it aint pretty. But when you buy a shit ton of steak on sale and a big ass bag of taters you get tired of steak and baked potato quick. Cubed steak, cut up tater fuckin flavor blasted, egg and cheese. Might throw some salsa on top. I still have 2 rib eyes left. Help.

 

Lamb is very underrated and very versatile. Being of eastern European heritage we had it alot when I was growing up. I still would rather have an enormous bone in leg of lamb on a holiday and is my goto at Easter. And in the summer I love a lamb burger with a slice of grilled eggplant and grilled red onion.

 

Cube it up and make some chili.

 

Nice, lamb is a favourite however the wife grew up on a farm raising lamb and she can't stand the smell of it.

Her Dad and her will share a plate of lamb oysters when a few young rams are neutered or slaughtered.

 

Already have chili in the freezer lol

 

Chop it up and make some philly cheese steaks

 

Kabobs.

 

I didnt grow up in a rich family. my mom made this dish when we were young. it had a tiny bit of pork in it and basically a can of creamed corn. we would eat it over rice. lots of rice. I effen loved it as a tiny boy.

I still occasionally make it. I step it up with some wine and other flavors, but it is essentially unchanged. in summer I use fresh corn I scrap off the cob with the back of a knife.

Those meals taste better just because of the nostalgia.
I also have those memories. Grits and brats is one of those staples from growing up.
