Unum is a bad co. I had them and they denied my claim because I was under restriction by Dr but their Dr said I was not restricted. And lawyer proved that I was under restriction but they denied me 3 times.
Sorry for the rant.
To answer your question you can get something. But you really need to read the policy and ask lots of questions. Do you have a IRA with Edward Jones or some other financial advisor if so ask them.
