    Hi TW Fam!

I'm in the process of rebuilding the front end due to loose steering and just a lot of knocking/squeaking noises that I have been trying to trace for over 3 years now.

    2011 Sport with 4x4 at 140k miles

Items that I'll be getting ready to purchase:
    1. OEM Steering Rack & Pinion
      • OEM bolts and washers - Quantity of 2
    2. OEM Outer Tie Rods
    3. OEM Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft
      • OEM bolts and washers - Quantity of 3
    4. OEM LCA Arms
      • OEM alignment bolts and washer
    Anything else I am missing?

I was also thinking on getting TC Cam Gusset welded since I have the LCA off but my current tabs are fine. Should I do this anyways?

Might as well do the ucas too. I’ll assume by oem you mean oe parts from the dealer? If you wheel the truck I’d do the gussets.

Yep OE parts. I have Icon billet UCA so I'm good on those. Thanks for the feedback!

I just did the same thing with all OEM Toyota parts, but no rack or int. shaft work. I did the TC cam tab gussets at the same time cause I was already there with LCAs off. Imo worth it

Look into the 4Runner front shock lower bolt swap...it really stops some of the clicking in the front going up and down bumps etc.

I went ahead and did new oem LCA/LBJ's and sway bar links too.

Truck feels tight like when it was new. Glad I did it.

Edit: I just saw you're in a 2nd gen...not sure if the 4Runner front bolt dealio is needed for 2nd gen..although 2nd and 3rd gen suspension are basically identical

Do you have the part #s for the 4runner front shock lower bolt swap? If it's fairly cheap, I'll just pick them up and if they fit they fit haha. Rather have extra just has spare anyways.

I just went down the rabbit hole and found out that 303 shock services sells aftermarket 14mm front lower shock bolt set that do not have the step down like oem bolts and wears out KING and other misalignment spacers over time (which I have).
