    Yes.

Only difference between older Tacoma spindles, not all have the ABS bracket.

Otherwise the spindles are identical, and since you're sourcing from a 4Runner, it'll only have ADD axle hubs.

2nd Gen shares nothing with a 1st Gen other than a name; they don't even look alike.

Need to press out the axle hub; the axle hub for manual hub cv axles is skinnier than the axle hub for ADD cv axles on the wheel end.

Get yourself new wheel bearings while you're at it.

The parts on the right are a wheel bearing, retaining ring, and nut.

The part on the left is an axle hub/wheel assembly.

I don't have part numbers but partsouq can easily answer you.

Wheel bearing is the same part number though regardless of cv axle type.

If I just went with manual locking hubs would that do away with my 4x4 actuator on front diff

You would have to clamp it in the engaged position to act like a fixed shaft the way the manual diff tube works.

You'd need manual hub cv axles as well.

Not to mention manual hubs themselves.

I was just trying to find a good used spindle to keep from having to pay 620$ so the toyota dealership could order me a new one bc there the only people that can get it none of the parts stores can

Spindles are found everywhere, and are so cheap, some have even tossed them.

ADD is in fact more commonly sold than manual hub as a lot of people buy up manual hub setups in order to add 4x4 to their Prerunner. For that reason alone, said parts are sold for more money.

If you've already got everything, then I'd say you're the exception to having to look for and spend more money to go manual hubs since you're already 4x4.

Will a 97 spindle fit a 2006 tacoma preruner wheel drive?

1st Gen Tacoma 95.5 to 04 are the same spindle. (Some will have manual hub some will be ADD hub, but all the spindles are the same)

3rd gen 4 runner 96-02 also have the same spindle (with ADD hubs)

1st gen Tundra 99-06 I believe also have the same spindle. (With ADD hubs)

An 06 spindle is a second gen Tacoma spindle. 2005 to 2015 is 2nd Gen Tacoma. And I THINK 3rd Gen Tacoma 2016 to present have the same spindle as the 2nd gen... not 100% on that.
