I'm not sure why people care what others think. Unless someone purchases the vehicle for us or we are bumping uglies...these other opinions are worthless to me.

I always find it funny how some people purchase trim packages that they never use. My wifes last Tacoma (2014 CC/LB Sport) was perfect for her. The suspension rode nice, did pretty good in the deep snow and mud. Fuel economy sucked....welcome to tacoma's. Buy something that fits your needs. Like my wife needed a rear locker....

Meh, the new technology doesn't bother me. Cars are more reliable now. I haven't broken down in a toyota since that day

Me neither, but kinda helpless if they do. Now they are usually fixed with a software update.

Pre 2016-2017 ish is the sweetspot in time for not too much nanny tech or spyware in modern vehicles. Today its gotten way out of hand (looking at you, Subaru)

There was a Top Gear episode years ago about a vehicle’s trim level and where the people stood in the office hierarchy…it was quite funny in the whole socioeconomic status quo pissing match.

Lol! Well they are! Was shocked how poorly those things are slapped together.

They mustn’t being doing well, have noticed an awful lot of ads from them recently.

Funny thing, one of the richest guys I know drives a 20+ year old Camry, could give two shits about cars, let alone trim levels.

I don’t care if it’s a Sport or an Off Road, but if it doesn’t say TRD on the bedside, it’s a HARD pass for me. My main requirement is a truck developed for racing.

I got a 2017 because less nanny shit. I strip all of my trucks/ cars of all emblems and stickers.a clean truck is more attractive.
