Couple shots tonight after work. I am loving this lens, just need a chance for some time when I'm not racing the sun. Tomorrow should be one to fill the card.

 

Is there a 'version' of photoshop that's available and isn't on a per-month payment basis?

I don't see the appeal of paying per month if say, I'm just going to use youtube videos to train myself with in helping to turn images to SVG's

Was more looking along the lines of, what version would be worth using before the monthly ordeal came to fruition and see about getting it unlocked like back in the old days

 

Probably get a discount with adobe for what that's worth, military or your wife's school

 

You gotta go back like ten years to try and find a copy of the non sub software. I don't know if you can even find it.

Military I didn't see anything but I'll inquire; I know Solidworks is quite a bit of money and it cost me only $20-25 to get all of their programs versus $1,500/year like some companies

Or I just need to learn other free software; I'm just being frugal that's all

Some software is just so good it makes the free software unappealing

Trace bitmap and other such features on a free software like Inkscape make things a drag

 

I dunno what you're wanting to do, but adobe lightroom works for me

 

I barely scratch the surface with what Photoshop does, but it's nice having the full suite of tools at my disposal. I have been paying and not using it for a while now, so I am happy to be back learning it again.

 

Wasn't lightroom a light version of a paid subscription as well?

Ooooh I don't need the help, just for when the request comes to cut something

For instance, I did this one myself but it took some frustration and editing to achieve it -



This one however, was achieved with photoshop and the help of a member here

I had a good portion of it done, but I used his overlay on the mouth/eyes/ears area as he had better detail and contrast after having edited the photo -



Experience of course is huge here, and I dont have any of it, but am a believer in also having the right tool for the job

So again, only if I get the request for such another job then I'll just pay for adobe

 

I was just saying, for a one time thing, some sure someone would do it. Hell, you can try and log into my adobe if you want
