    Lechuguilla Cave, located in Carlsbad Caverns National Park, but thus far not known to be connected, is the 8th longest in the world at over 150 miles and the second deepest in the USA at 1604 feet. It is currently only open to scientific researchers and explorers because of its unique formations and pristine condition.
