Exactly! Between paddle shifting and blizzaks I never slip in my wife’s honda passport

They are impressive, have studded General Altimax on my 1s Gen, like the blizz better. No constant sound popping of bubble wrap either. :D

Haha so true! We make trips to the Bay Area from Tahoe as well so studded would be awful

I was looking at those tires today. I’m baffled at how much more they weigh than my current Toyo 285/70/17s. They even weigh more than the falken M/Ts….I wonder why that is.

I've had the AT3s in 265s and now AT4s in 255s. AT3s were best AT wheel I've had. Quiet on road, awesome in snow and rain, but mine did wear down quickly. AT4s have been great in rain but haven't had them on snow/ice.

I’m in Washington as well and on my 2nd set of ko2’s. I’ve been happy with them. Although I think I may try the at4’s for my next set. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them.

I have been using AT3s for the past 4 years and I get a new set every 2 years. Could do 3 years but I replace them in Nov before the winter weather and like to have deep tread.

Great snow/ice handling and also off-road in the rocky Northern NV desert during summer.

I also live in NW Washington and run Toyo AT3's. Very happy with them in the rain.

A note on ratings: I converted to the SL's for weight savings w/no regrets. Plenty of camping on forest roads/BDR sections and no punctures whatsoever. For years I insisted on E rated tires for fear of off chance punctures, lugging around lots of extra unsprung weight, largely unnecessarily. I carry a puncture repair kit and a compressor for off chance I pick up a nail (which is your most likely puncture with all the jackasses burning pallets) and that nail will puncture E Rating tires just fine, too.

Point is - if I was gonna go do the canning stock route or air down to do some crazy off camber track on sharp stones - I'd run E's. Imo the vast amount of guys can run SL's for weight and money savings and be just fine, so if you're on the fence about needing E's keep it in mind.

Love my wild peaks. I’ve gotten 50k out of them & they still grip. Looking to upgrade soon.

I strongly dislike my K02s when it comes to the rain, my next set of tires will (likely) be the AT4s. I wonder if BFG has improved the wet weather performance with the K03s...

    Rubber material I'm assuming
    What's the milage warranty on the at3 and at4 I think it's 55k for 3's
    65k for the 4's
