Yep, happened in college and had a bad low side that very day at lunch due to spilled diesel on an intersection.

Have been ATGATT 100% since then and will admit that, sometimes, I decide to take the car on a day when I had a bad feeling.

Mostly, the only times I get this sort of precognition is here and there occasionally when I'm getting ready to ride home from work. IDK if it's nerves because I know there will be traffic but once I get on it goes away.

Only other time outside that scenario I got it was a couple weekends ago that same morning I found out my friend passed in the canyons. Was planning to ride that day but felt off so I stayed home.

Always listen to your gut/sixth sense etc when it comes to a ride.

I too have done the same a handful of times. Even started a ride and turned around a mile down the road

Rite rite. My stock battery is still good surprisingly after a year. although I did upgrade to a NOCO lithium, not long ago.

Just got back from helping my oldest daughter and her boyfriend move more shit from their rental place, to his house he bought. Both batteries on the bikes were dead. So, dad to the rescue. :(

Question, why do people do the electrical tape X on the headlights? I've never understood it.

At one time lights and mirrors had to be taped for track use so broken glass would be contained in an accident or spill. Likely just to give the appearance the bike had seen track use.

*hides behind wall*.... Air filter clean and battery swap turned into pulling airbox to disassemble to reseal main flange and throttle body pulled for full cleaning. Talk about spiral out of control. Oopsie.

So the cliffnotes version is: I went to change the air filter and this happened.
