Strangest thing just happened the wife shared our retirement from rescue a friend in Arizona contacted her. She’s having surgery in a couple months wants to know if we can come house sit the ranch or farm for two weeks. It’s somewhere near show low. She’s offering to scout fishing locations as well. Sign me up!!! Asked what do you like to eat well stock the fridge

 

Today is our big family “Soupfest”!
Once a year, my wife invites all of her family and a few others over for soup during the cold months. She makes soup, breads, desserts, and there’s always a fun family game. Going to be a great day! Starts at 1:00….

Good morning. Well mid Winter break has come to an end. Accomplished a bunch of little projects that needed to be done. Things went well until last night when I went to plug an extension cord into the garage outlet. Dog gone thing blew up throwing sparks and flames. It destroyed the gfci outlet up line in the master bathroom. Ran to Lowe’s grabbed the parts to replace. Here is what literally fell out of the box

Spent the last 10 years repairing or replacing crap the previous owner tried to do…I have two plugs left…I guess I’d better get on that!

Just to share my mess. This is after the purge.
Most of the items left are waiting to be scrapped or put on sale. But yes, this is MUCH better than it was. What is great about taking my time, is the more I look at stuff the more I want to throw it away.



And if you need 2nd gen parts, let me know, I might have it.

 

You are an inspiration- I wish I could throw more stuff away. I've been keeping stuff for years [not a hoarder, more of a "...but it's a good box" kind of guy] Over the last few years I've been getting rid of stuff but it's hard.

 

I think it started with going through my Mom and Dads place a few years back. I don't want that for my son. If its still good, I donate or sell it, but honestly most of it just gets tossed.

 

Evening 50's peeps. Here's a little smile for you, celebrated our youngest G Daughters B day today. Baby Alora turned one and she's a cake eater!

 

I had 8 teeth removed, all upper teeth. I imagine something had to give. Three were broken. I'm still a little sore. LOL
