    I decided to be lazy today. I’m going to order a different polish though and take care of it Friday or Saturday if it’s nice out. Monday would be great but gotta work. I’ll have a couple late nights working and have time to take off on Friday.

    Oh Geeze.

    The article is kinda vague.

    Toyota is recalling about 381,000 Tacoma midsize pickup trucks in the U.S. because a part can separate from the rear axle, increasing the risk of a crash.

    This says a little more...

    Toyota said in a statement Tuesday that welding debris left on the ends of the axles can cause some nuts to loosen over time and eventually fall off. That can cause the part to separate from the axle, which can affect stability and brake performance.

    I wonder what part in the rear axle it is???

    Welp, Third Gen began in 2016 and by 2020...there were significant changes that benefited me with the 2021 model.

    I'm happy with Push-Button Start/AT, TSS, Apple CarPlay and wiring that allows: Tailgate Lock, Bed Lights, and OEM LED Headlights (plug/play).

    I'm on my third year as owner...come this May and just went over 26K miles.

    Hopefully, this faulty welding doesn't cause rapid disassembly.

    Welding debris left on the ends of the rear axle assembly during manufacturing could cause certain retaining nuts to loosen over time and eventually fall off, potentially causing a part to separate from the axle.

    Car play (not wireless), electric seat, TSS, umm LED plug and play, push start with special button!

    only recall on mine was the fuel pump.

    I have electric seat...wish I had heated seats!

    The use of a "Dongle" through the USB allows for wireless Apple CarPlay...my iPhone plug connector has not worked well ever since I dropped it in the sand while at Indian River.

    No recall to report on my 2021.

    My heated seats were installed by me…. I’ve done a number of things on my truck and that is probably number 2 worse thing to do… #1 was the shackle hangers. You wouldn’t think something held in with 4 rivets would be bad…

    I went to the Delaware Sportsman Show in Cheswold this morning and bought some Tatanka hot sauce! lol

    Lots of vendor tables...I actually got underneath a behemoth truck to see how the rear differential is attached.

    Same 4 bolts as the Tacoma!
