Yeah fitment pages on some sites are weird. Even ARBs own site doesn't show any compatible suspension components for pre '98 Tacomas, but it also shows the only fitment options for their 883 coils are 2016-2020 diesel Colorados. So I'd take it with a spoonful of salt. As long as its the same part number it should fine. You can always email OK4WD if it helps.

They do this to simply protect themselves and/or haven't confirmed fitment; you can't just suddenly think they don't fit because one single site tells you they don't

Have to remember, 1995.5 was a weird one so there's that, not to mention the up-to-1997 model before they changed the length/mounting leaf pack for 1998 and up

Yeah exactly. Not to mention things change as new models are built and old products fit new models. They can't keep revising every time something new pops up, so just go by part number.
Plus the shitload of people who have already run that setup haha.

I was just trying to help him find someone who had em in stock. Which their site says they do. So, balls in his court.

Also @Ozark_RegCab you wouldn't need new coils if you would've gotten your bid in on that 80 I sent you :D
Only hit $93K. (Their last one was $135K)

Well considering his skepticism is greater than this entire forum combined, the mention of "coils not fitting" obviously scared him off and he won't be buying any for another year now

An ad on FB the other day said F150 and Tacomas use the same coilovers just with different top hats.

So many more shocks around now

I saw that but keep in mind the valving and spring rate is going to change between the two as well. That was also an 8-in coil over he was selling and I think he meant that they were the same coil over body for the long travel kits because neither of those trucks use an 8-in coilover with stock suspension

I’m pretty sure it was only the leaf packs that changed in 98, not the front suspension. The Dobinsons coils said the same thing (98-04), and the sales rep wanted me to send him a while photoshoot of the coil buckets when I asked about it.

Right, odds are you're going to have to rebuild anyway, and spring rating might be fine depending on what you're going for bumper wise. Just an interesting thing if it's true

Also those yellow and black gas station supplements. Nobody knows what’s in there. Or you could always take 5 5 hour energies and unlock the forbidden 25th hour of the day.
