I have to wire some turn signals that match my coastal bumper. Comes with the wiring that I need to splice in. However the new signals have the classic red (+) and black (-). However the factory blinker housing is white and green. Is the white the negative or ground. And the green the positive. Just wanna make sure I splice the right wires

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
Im not so great with dc. trying to learn. But the ground should be on the negative I believe. somebody who knows for sure will be along here shortly.

The best thing to do is check it with a meter first, then you know, even if someone did previous shenanigans.

I think green is positive in this case.

So I’d wire the red to green. And the white to black?

    There should be a Green/Black and a White/Black.
    The Green/Black is Positive.
    The White/Black is Negative.
