    Hey TW,

Up for sale is my UpTop Overland Alpha Roof Rack for a 3rd gen double cab. I purchased this new from UpTop in June of 2022. It's an extremely well made rack and very sturdy. I am only selling because I am getting my truck ready to trade in.

Please note: I will need to swap rubber gutter covers with you as part of the sale. It's mutually beneficial: it will be easier for you to install the rack on your truck as you will not need to purchase the punch and punch the holes in your gutter covers and I will then be able to trade my truck in without holes visible.

Overall the rack is in very good condition. There are minor scuffs on some of the cross bars from mounting things, but they are just scuffs and not visible from the ground anyways.

I am located in Naperville, IL and work near O'hear airport.

I'd like to get $700 for the rack (essentially 50% of what they are selling for new).

*** I was given permission from the staff here at TW to post this before having removed it from my truck as I do not want to disturb the silicone that has proven to be water tight until I can silicone the exposed holes with replacement gutter covers that don't have holes punched in them ***

Still not sure at the moment! I figure it will take me a couple months to convert back to stock, but I need more space in the back seat so probably a full size! Possibly a tundra but quite expensive lol

I test drove the new Tundra Pro but the cost and insane interest rates had me laughing out the door. Rates are so wild now I feel like it only makes sense if you have the means to buy outright at the time of sale. Happily keeping my Tacoma for the long haul with current economics.

GLWS, I'd be all over this if I was closer.

I completely agree! I don’t really want another vehicle payment so that is also factoring into my decision on what my ideal budget should be based on trade in value + parts sold + cash.
