We're looking for a dog boarding kennel in eastern Connecticut, for our 12 pound Cairn Terrier. Anyone have any recommendations ?

On YouTube watching cable crimping videos for larger cables (batteries/winches) as I recover from this hangover. Went to a birthday party and I was a bad boy.

 

Makes two of us, had it since last Sunday and thought I kicked it by Friday but it has returned

 

Turned out to be a nice day . Got a lot of firewood stacked up for next season.

 

Daughter is sick now and that’s how it started . Now my son just said his throat is sore and he’s flying to Puerto Rico tomorrow morning.

 

Kiddo's futsal team got smoked, so that's done.

Onto the turf playoff next weekend.

 

I was laying on the couch, my niece texts me. Her van broke down. I told her to get AAA, but do people listen?
Getting very close to shutting my phone off at certain times.

Well I have been gone for just about forever, from the forum.
I had the idea recently about putting an old roof rack onto the tonneau cover to hold my roof top box for extra storage. Since the tonneau cover is made of that really hard plastic I figured perhaps the roof rack can clamp to it like it would the roof of a car. So I made up some new feet as a test and so far it holds incredibly well. More testing to be done before I actually use it as well as use a different material for the foot pads, but initially it seems rather promising. I would never use such a thing for say transporting a rooftop tent, bikes, etc, but for small stuff I figure it is worth the experiment. Getting back to my old life of actually doing engineering

 

Happy Monday. Full on sick today. Sore throat. congested. slammmmmming headache. you know the drill. it was really only a matter of time....everyone at work is or has been sick. taking today off, actual day off tomorrow and then lets hope wednesday is at least passable.

Well...

Application for citizenship has been submited, and the $725.00 fee paid.

Now we play the waiting game apparently. I guess they contact me to go do a test, prints, etc.

Based on what my father said when he looked into it, and did all of his stuff this weekend, it can take 6-8 months about.

He went to an agency here in town where there is a lady that helps with that, because of the "language barrier". She submits all of the paperwork and forms, and charges a fee for it. I just did it all online myself. Started it last night, and finished it this morning. A lot of questions to answer, and paperwork to submit. All sorts of stuff.

But at least it's done (I think) and now I just wait.
