The lady at the agency that helped my parents submit the paperwork gave them a paper with questions that they ask at the citizenship test. I was reading through it yesterday when we went over for lunch after church. A lot of those questions are things you learn in school if you are lucky enough to move here while you're still young, and go through the school system. And a lot of them are also "common knowledge" type questions. There were 100 questions on there. Not sure how many they actually ask on the test. My father said that the lady told him because he's over 65 they only ask them 20 questions and supposedly if you get 6 correct, even if you don't get asked all 20 you're done and you pass. But depending on the person that's administering the test they may ask all 20 anyway.

I feel pretty confident if the paper the lady gave my father is a good example of what I'd be asked on a test. I was lucky enough to move here when I was 12, so I learned some stuff about government, etc. And I'm lucky that my 9 year old is starting to learn about government already in 4th grade and knew a lot of the questions they asked about that, so I learned from him as well. LOL.

Good luck to you and you know my wife went through the same thing. A lot of questions about the government at that time, but that was over 35 years ago one of the big adder was for her was that she was a bilingual, English and French. So you're bilingual Portuguese? I think that should be an adder, but the questions are common sense at that time. You'll do fine, just do what they say. Make sure every.is there and every T is crossed and every period is where it's supposed to be. Good luck

Apparently they offer the test in other languages as well. My parents are taking it in Portuguese because of the language barrier. I've been here for so long that if I took it in Portuguese I'm sure I'd fail. LOL

 

Looked at my niece's van after work today. Needs a fuel pump. I don't think it's worth it with the amount of rust that thing has. The rocker panels are not there.

Good morning.

I wasn't able to look at the fuse block last night because of my niece's van. I'll look at the thing tonight and see why it's acting weird.
The only thing common between the relays is that they get power and ground from the same place but that shouldn't cause the issue I'm having.

 

Maiden voyage to work and the roof box is still over the bed. Id love a leer cap or to build a pop up camper to put in the bed, but this is okay for now for when I do a trip and need extra storage.

I just got over the nasty cold I got right after the Mrs got over Covid, and now she gave me a cold again.

Post nasal drip all day, tickle in my throat, and now congestion.

So pissed. No clue where or how I got it.

The Mrs had it and we all managed to not catch it. Now she's fine, and I catch it. Hoping I didn't give it to the kids.

 

That's just what I may be doing this evening after work. Phone rang 5 times and when I go help my brother in law jump his Jeep, it rang two more times.

I have stuff in my house that I'm trying to go through. I get free time to actually do it and nope. I still haven't looked at the issue with my fuse box either.
