The road from Blanding over to Natural Bridges Nat'l Monument is a fun road on a motorcycle. Moki Dugway is a must! But I like coming from the north down the dugway, into Monument Valley. I just think it is way more picuresque.

Going back to the standing desk thing, I was able to score this like new versidesk pro 36 for only $100 this morning! New these run for $350 or so. Figured I can try it and resell it easily if I end up not liking it.

All of you inspired me to put together a way cooler 'office' than I was originally planning on. Well the bones of it so far. Art to hang and wires to clean up still.

No BS ... I wish my desk could be as organized as yours. But my 15 ft custom desk just never seems enough for my lack of organization. No more pictures ... I am embarrassed enough already.

I've reached the age where I wake up with aches and pains that I did not have the night before. Stayed up smoking some pork butts last night, crashed for a few hours when the stall hit. Temp alarms went off at 5 and as soon as my left foot hit the floor I about passed out from toe pain. WTF!

Gout? Do you drink a lot of soda and eat a lot of red meat?

Theres good(read: fast) wild camping off FS1700/Plateau Rd just outside of town. Theres also a nice outdoor shooting range on Plateau Rd. No suggestions for food though, its an unfortunate tourist trap in town. Something is probably decent though.

If it makes you feel any better, part of why I can keep a clean desk is because I never work with physical media. You should see my electronic file organization, it’s atrocious.

Wasn't my first choice but need to get down the road as much as I can that night to shorten the drive to Southern UT the following day. Wanted to get further south but all the little towns in ID close up shop by 8pm. Basically my day is Pocatello to Belgrade get camper installed turn back south and hit West Yellowstone. Birthday dinner/ beers then hit road in AM 8 hour drive to southern UT. Thought about just staying in bozeman but that adds 2.5 hours to the drive the next day

I have done that multiple times. Like stated west yellowstone is a tourist trap. I bet there is something worth eating there tho. There is a pretty decent bbq spot next to go fast but thats all I would recommend. I would just get something around bozeman and put some miles on and grab some beers for around the fire that night.

Was able to snag a hotel cheap in West Yellowstone sub $100 for the night 4.6 star ratings. Thankfully still off-season so shouldn't be stupid busy. As much as I'd like to break in the gfc right away I'm just trying to be as efficient as possible given the time frame I'm working under and miles I'm covering in short period of time. That means sticking on the route no side trips etc. Maximize highway time. We'll have plenty of time for sightseeing when we return in AUG

Also TW express can be arranged from GFC back to AZ if anyone needs something

Its a pretty straight forward drive. SLC is crap and avoid it at all costs during rush hour! I usually do the whole thing in a straight shot but I have you by 3 hours leaving from show low.
