Depends on the width of the tire wheel offset. Forgot the offset of my wheels but they’re pretty wide and I needed to cut off the bedside supports and a bit from the bedside.

    what are those?
I know this is an older post sorry about that but I see you have the same wheels as me and I have gone through all 98 pages of this massive post plus a few previous skims of it.

Currently I have these 17x8 +5 4.75 backspace rims pictured above with 1.25 spidertax spacers, SPC uppers, fox performance elite shocks, 1" toytec body lift, aggressive cab mount chop, spindle gussets, cam tab gussets, for I am looking to make the jump to 315/70/17 stt pro's soon, I am fully prepared to do fender trimming and know I will need to smash the pinch weld and regear and all that but wondering what all you had to do to make them work, I dont want new wheels right now and wondering if reducing the spacer to 1" will be required... I know this will be a process regardless and every truck is different but looking for similar experience with making 35's fit on these rims.

This thread is a wealth of information for going to 35s!

I cut my fenders over the summer and been liner less ever since. Bad idea, dirt, salt and everything else found its way in to every nook and cranny under the hood.

I ordered the c4 liners last week. While I wait the 8 weeks of lead time I’ll be getting the truck cleaned up and ready.

Boras go better with aftermarket wheels in my opinion. They have longer studs.

Real dumb question, but can you weld these on without removing the lower control arms? I'd like to do this at some point, this summer, but my truck is my only vehicle at the moment and I don't know if I can get everything apart, welded up and back together fast enough to get an alignment before I'd need to be able to get back and forth to work. Also, I don't see a 3rd gen version, are the frames the same between the 2nd and 3rs gen trucks?

You can but you have to be very careful. The LCA bushing are rubber and if you don't take your time on the weld, you'll melt them.

There's some details in the Marlin thread.

I settled on the C4 ones for two reasons. One, I have lots of c4 parts and everyone of them has been very well made.
Second, the installation of these liners seemed more straightforward than others.

    Enough for now
can confirm, I have a new to me set of the fend-x liners and after test fitting it seems like a PITA to install on my trimmed fenders. A lot of clips, no predrilled holes, I also have little patience for these 30min projects that end up taking 4 hours each side..

Also can’t really remove my wheels at the moment at home so I’ve been putting it off.

Does anyone make rear fender liners?? I wish C4 would, to complement the fronts.

I forgot they did rears. They look like a total PITA, though. Not cut to shape, no holes... I'll hold out for a more turn key solution.

Plenty of posts there and the marlincrawler board welding them on with everything on the truck. I'll keep wet rags tucked up around the bushings, alternate sides to reduce how much heat in any given area and give it a go.

~~Now I just need them to come back in stock, lol.~~

Nvm, they're in stock. I will have to wait, had to dump way too much into my civic so my sister could have a vehicle for work. Her scion threw a rod a few weeks ago.

How big of a difference would there be if my back spacing is 3.5” instead of the suggested 4”? Would there be more rubbing?
