Odd question. But what are the chances I could get you to snap a picture of your front leaf hanger similar to this?

Last piece of the cage is done! Still got plenty of desert season left to give it a workout. IMG_2932.jpg

using 3/8" hardware my battery ends up sitting on top of the heads of the bolts. Guess I can just weld some tabs onto the sides of tray bolt it in there and call it good, got to love when you can answer your own question lol

Did the valving feel like it softened up a bunch after the cage? I had to jump up to the next shim stack on the compression all around after my cage.

The back felt softer for sure. Gonna do some bypass tube adjusting before I jump to a different valve stack. I didnt go full bore on saturday because I had an appointment today to get cage tied into the bed cage and I didnt want to break anything and lose the appointment and getting this cage over and done with. Within the next few weeks I'll head on out to OW to do some tube tuning and really see where i'm at.

Those of you beating your trucks, what’s your trans temp at? Most of the time I’m off-road I’m not in lockup, so it builds heat pretty good. Swapped my (what I thought was big) cooler for one almost triple the size, and after beating on it for a few minutes of constant whoops and dips, it creeps up to 190. I want to theoretically be able to beat on this thing for miles and it never exceed 190. Is this feasible? I’m running out of bed space for anything bigger.

Where is the cooler? What is your overall capacity? Does it have a fan? Is the cooler getting direct air flow? It’s absolutely possible, if you’re reasonable with ambient temp.

Cooler is in the bed, next to tire cage, over one of the bed cubbies so it still flows. IMG_1034.jpg

I have a high capacity trans pan, plus the fluid in the lines and cooler. Probably like 14 quarts or something lmao.

Did you install a thermostat bypass like the common upgrade they do in the 6l80s and th400
