My wife's 3rd Gen has a tune from KDMax. Really like it lol. Hers has all the creature comforts. But I know I'll definitely miss the 2nd Gen. I just can't bring my self to sell the 3rd Gen either. They are both paid off. I will miss y'all though. 2nd Gen guys seem cooler

Exact same feeling (including gear box management) and same reason I bought a 2nd gen.

I put a full set of 5100's on my 3rd gen Sport and it greatly improved the driving characteristics of that truck. Then I put brand new 3rd gen Off Road Bilstein struts and coils on my 2nd gen and it has the same feel as the 3rd gen.2016 on 5100s vs 2008 on 2022 OR struts - Copy.jpg

I did the same, 3rd gen OR suspension and my leaf springs were replaced with the frame. What a difference.

Paid it off this morning. Paid off the 4Runner a couple months ago. All planned this way. Turning 62 next month so I’m checking off the boxes getting set up for retirement . Not planning on doing it soon but if I change my mind I can.

How'd you break the Wheeler's? I ask because that's what I currently have and want to know what not to do!

Honestly, I am not sure. I noticed it when I was rotating the tires. Maybe it was just tired. I occasionally haul firewood so that could have done it too over the years. The Wheelers AAL had been on the truck since 2016.

The original housing has a tendency to melt with stock DRLs. New OEM housing addresses the problem.

Issue I need to worry about on my 2015?
    Just don’t use the DRLs?
