What is this different food you speak of? I'm not seeing a problem.
You would think, and yet they are about to open the largest Buc-ee's in the nation right down the street. Pretty excited about that tbh.

I bought it bone stock as seen in the second picture about 4 years ago. the other two show how it is today after I had my way with it. Been a fun project but sadly it’s been neglected since buying my Tacoma last summer. Hopefully it’ll get some more love this year.

Wait… are you in PA too?? Sounds like the same situation as we have here. State College has good diversity for as small as it is. But typical college town.

I can understand that. There is much diversity here. Some of that food has diverse effects on my digestive system too.

They claim Missouri has big whitetails. Our shits mismanaged. Shouldn’t have to hunt for weeks on end in state forest. and only see half a dozen deer. I obviously ride, and have a wheeling rig. Hobbies for all seasons

My ADHD kicks in if I don’t take a break from things. Spring brings on the trials events and such. Dual sport event our club puts on and attending some hard enduros. Fall is time in a tree. I love being at camp and in the woods. Sprinkle some wheeling in throughout the year. I’m hoping to get started on new axles later this summer. Time to get rid of the Toyota axles and get some wontons.

The only way to get that is in a city. So you either get wide open spaces or variety. I also say eff the diversity of culture nonsense. We need American Culture which is the blending of the good from all those who come here and the bad gets tossed.

You can visit a city. But I prefer to live in the country.

    ~Rant, and excuse the language..

Screw a Buc-ee’s! The biggest cluster fuck I’ve ever seen….. Freakin Bucktooth bastard….

We (Wife and I) went into one a couple weekends ago off 95 in South Carolina. All the gas pumps had lines of cars at each one. Jack asses would either get gas, and leave the car at the pump to go inside and shop. or, just park at the pumps instead of actually parking in a parking space, to go inside and shop/look around. To which there was plenty of parking everywhere. God forbid you have to walk a little. Oh holy shit.

Then…. inside was as loud as a concert hall. People yelling, families yelling, kids running around all over the freaking place. Oh holy shit. Why in the SAM HELL do you need a shopping cart in a damn gas station? I don’t get it. trying to walk a little just to get a pepsi, was like playing the old school game Frogger. cheese and rice, man it was nuts. Then, only to find out… Buc-ee’s doesn’t carry Pepsi products (at least at that store). Never again will I go into one. Well, maybe. There is one being built in the next year or two 30 min. down the highway from us.

Now, I might forget about my experience by then, But that remains to bee seen.

    ~rant over.

Been in contact with the guy selling the vfr800. It’s out of the shop and he took it out for a ride Friday. Said it’s running good. Said he would let me know when I can come look this week. Sure hope this guy is serious. I can’t tell you how many people list something then back out. Anyway keeping my fingers crossed and wait patiently.

Now that sir is a true statement!

Born and raised in PA, lived here my entire life. PA has a lot to offer, 4 fairly distinct seasons, 2 major cities at opposite ends of the state with major league sports teams, museums, historical sites, and a wide variety of outdoor activities. Decent amount of camping, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreational areas. One of the highest gas taxes in the nation and shitty roads. I work with some guys who have never been further away from home than the beach in MD about 200 miles away. My area has a lot of very conservative, almost closed minded people that I sometimes have a hard time dealing with. Around here it seems most people shop at the same store their parents and even grandparents shopped at. They buy their cars from the same dealerships and attend the same churches after graduating from the same schools. Many of the people I work with are just amazed that I've traveled to so many states or that I'm even interested in doing so.

I've been trying recently to reset my way of thinking a little bit and appreciate what is available to me a little more. We've hosted some riding friends from out of state and I've enjoyed being able to show them things they don't have in their home state. PA is far from perfect but like anything else in life there are trade offs and overall it's not awful. It's not Wyoming. :boink:

PS, I've been to Wyoming and it does have some beautiful areas.

More fun from Wyoming here. I-80 is a major artery and runs the length of the state. Gives a good idea of the weather going across the Southern portion. https://www.wyoroad.info/pls/Browse/WRR.RoutesResults?SelectedRoute=I80 It's the most common route for those passing through, and it does wonders at keeping the population low. LOL

welp last nice day for awhile it seems... 54 this morning and 80 after work so i rode the bike in to at least enjoy it. the weather is suppose to dive below 20 degrees tonight with snow... so who ever up north is getting snow :luvya:

also maan a walmart bag tried to kill me this morning
was getting off the highway from 71 to 150 and a walmart bag flew under my rear tire and caused it to slide. bike was completely sideways from it

I traveled from Sturgis Bike Week on to Yellowstone back in 2001 so I've been across I-80 out there. I can still remember being amazed at seeing an exit ramp coming off a major interstate like that and seeing an unpaved road at the bottom of the ramp. I recall some long, desolate sections out there and wondering how people lived there. Here in PA I live in a suburb but I'm still only about 1 mile from I-83 interstate, 4 miles from the PA turnpike, 15 minutes from a decent sized city and have a grocery store and multiple restaurants and pizza shops within less than 2 miles.
