If the weather holds up. I'm getting the pressure washer out and going to clean up the Pure sign. It's currently on the 4x8 tlr and hangs out over the fenders. Will post up pictures later as you know I never have a phone with me to take pictures.

 

Just picked up a Kubota L245F. I was passing it every day going to and from work for the past few weeks, picked it up for $3k, 2500 hours. Previously repainted, diesel 3cyl, don't know the year cause the serial number doesn't represent year made but this model was made between 76-85. Pricing out full filters and fluids, new front tires as they are dry rotted about to bust, and it also needs steering end links pretty bad. Plans are to refresh the fluids, filters, tires, and links so its ready for this summer. First thing will be a 5' brush mower then later in the summer probably a post hole digger, then some time in the future probably a tiller and maybe a finish mower. Should do just fine for the 5 acres we own.

thanks man! after a 9 hr day as a tile setter/mason im beat. it is very peaceful just having a beer and gettin a project near dun! then on to a horse barn and coral. getting my woman a lil' buddy for our anniversary. winter coat but shes only 10months old.

 

then if goes as i hope get it bathroom trained. then can be registered a service animal for my lady. hoping a tax write off cant promote tractor budget.

 

Sounds like your wife is a lot like mine. Mine wants a mini cow.

 

i've always only liked motors, and auto sports. i think i want it more than her. shes crippled from a horse fall. so not being able to ride this sounds fun. AND...mandates a tractor for her to do work. i has a plan. im thinking kubota. but 1 step at a time.

yeah i would too. neighbor has one. hes really cool and very friendly with babies.

 

This pre-dates most tractors but thought this group might enjoy it. This old mule drawn cultivator was used by my grandpa and his brother over 100 years ago. My dad gave it to me at Christmas and it was still wearing its old work clothes and looking rough. I sanded it down, primed it, painted it and installed new handles on it. I don't know what its original colors were, if it was even painted at all, but it had an old faded coat of a light yellow paint and I saw some chips of green so went with a John Deere theme. Anyway, this plow was used in Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri and it now resides just outside of Philly. Glad to have a little piece of family history.

Thats really cool and the paint job came out nicely, its crazy how that was the defacto farming technology for hundreds of years and then in the last 150-100 years such extreme developments/improvements have occured
