Definitely a trade off. I like not having neighbors too close. Love that I have buffalo (bison) basically in my front yard, and I'm within driving distance to several ways to get outdoors and off grid. Lake, mountains, desert camping, all readily accessible.

I like having a city a couple hours away. Close enough I can go any time I want, but far enough a way that the crime and stupid aren't in my back yard.

Oh shit I didn't know there was a Durty Dabber in here.

Y'alls event was my first ever dual sport in '22.

I was so stoked to complete both days.

Went back in '23 and completed all heroes too (skipped a couple the first year).

A couple people used my hitch mounted tire changer that year.

The dust last year was nuts!

we have great diversity of food out here, EXCEPT bbq...there's a few spots but they're so few and far in between

Sheesh glad you're okay man. Weather's been good down here, been making the most of the storms and getting some snowboarding in. Detailed the bike, went for a nice ride on Sunday and got some pie at my usual stop, found some very unusual friends along the way. Hoping the weather holds for the week/weekend....and patiently awaiting my R3 that should be done any day now.

Completely not bike related, but I laughed and though @Calamity_taco would appreciate it as a fellow fan of some anime. Not sure how much any of these apply to anyone else, here.

Probably. I usually only drive it on Sunday because there are more trails that day. It’s not very road friendly.

Good grief. What is that!? It honestly reminds me of Cloud's bike out of FFVII. Has a very brutal look to it.

Well Star Wars is apparently green unless you have a life size Stormtrooper, and Lego means you'll sell it all for profit later when it's out of production. The anime is the red flag, unless she likes it to. Then you are both red flags and that cancels.

Vmax has a cult following. The first version was fast af for the time. 1200cc v4.

Side note, part 2 of ff7 "rebirth" comes out tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited

I remember a couple other built toyotas right after the creek crossing after the furnace part last year too. Like a 4runner and 2nd gen. Now I am bummed I prob won't be doing the event this year, going to try to do Michaux instead. You do the Quarry Run up in Hancock?

I got the OG for Christmas when I was 14. I bought a PS5 specifically so I could finally play the FF games I'd missed through the years. It's an absolute fantastic game that honors the original completely
