is Tacoma's V6 weak?

It's got plenty of juice for me.
Towing is another matter!

Folks that say it’s underpowered simply need to learn how to operate a motor vehicle.

If 278 hp and 265 tq is not enough to get your ass around then one definitely needs some driving courses.

Hey, you should see how my 67 year old mom opens jars! That torque is incredible!

 

It's not that it's underpowered... It just makes the power in the wrong RPM range for a truck.
