I blame @Thatbassguy for starting the gang war. They must've took it personally.

    Glad everyone's ok though.

Kimm'r hit one in her RAV4 a couple of years ago. Facia took all of the hit. IIRC the bill was $349 painted and installed. One suicided itself by broadsiding my pick-up. It still has the deer ding.

Where does all that money come from... I have watched their videos. That crew would drive me nuts. Like where they go though-and I have done some of the routes (way before they did...)

Alas they're not immune to needing sponsors either.

Still waiting for a Bezos type to start their own unfiltered channel. That wouldn't last long without getting too many strikes though.

A lot of the stuff they added could have been bought from other sites and the actual manufacturers themselves. They made it over the top obvious it was ordered directly from Toyota's site o_O
Small price to pay when you get to play with a Trailhunter earlier than most I guess.

Definitely agree the locations are phenomenal. Getting excited for their upcoming Africa series.

That's also a 20-year-old Rav lol. Trucks from that era would behave similarly

    Did/do they even work?

I'm in no way shape or form suggesting anyone mount these hideous things on their hood.

More than 380,000 Toyota Tacoma pickups recalled because axles could loosen

Toyota is recalling 381,000 Tacoma pickups because bolts in the rear axle could loosen and fall off, which could eventually allow part of the rear axle to detach.

The trucks involved are model year 2022 and 2023 Tacoma pickups. Owners of recalled trucks will receive letters advising them to take their truck to a Toyota dealer to have the rear axle inspected and the nuts retightened if necessary. Letters will be sent out to owners by late April, Toyota said.

Don't need 'em. Bumper works very well.

    She went in the freezer.

He's our bartender. The only thing you can blame him for is a weak drink.

One hit the Taco a few years back. I was able to pull out the dent.

I think those just called deer.
    Loud tires scares deer away.

    So, who hit it?

That wording is a bit different than what we got at the dealership lol.

This is one of those recalls where someone noticed that Jose wasn't cleaning up his work bench and so maybe some of the 380,000 pickups in that batch might have gotten a few metal shavings on them as machines did all the bolting up so there's a slight chance of a possibility that something could potentially maybe be a tad lose.

    In theory.

Until today, I had never realized what a POS the stock bumper on a Tacoma was.

All nanny sensors work as advertised. Wiring harness just barely fits, with some modifications. Directions were OK to shitty, some of their pictures and descriptions weren't great, usually for the same step...go figure. Black bumper, black wiring harness, poor lighting...a little contrast goes a long way sometimes, just sayin'. Overall, I'm happy for $500.

Pat, meant to reply earlier but forgot. Say when. Now that I'm retired, time is in short supply but I may be able to find some.

:anonymous: F'n thing bent my license plate frame :annoyed:..doin' 55 mph.:headbang:

Yeah, I do now. I didn't when I hit that deer.

    That looks good, Rich.
I'm gonna guess the holes will be filled with chase lights. How difficult is it to remove the receiver? I ditch mine when I do the semi-serious wheelin'. That few inches makes a huge difference. Back end takes a lot fewer hits without it. It's only 6 bolts.
I got stuck in the same mud hole @Thatbassguy tore off his facia. Receiver skid dug into the dirt as I dropped in. @McSpazatron had to pull me out. (ATRAC wasn't any use) After that 'lil episode, I decided to lose the hitch skid when off-roading.
