is Tacoma's V6 weak?

Yeah man, that engine won world’s best multiple times. Toyota Japan…a L6 please.

I had an inline 6 in a 1965 Ford F100 short bed step side. You could shoot that engine block with a .38 and it would keep running.

…they did however keep a self respecting dull man spec engine.

 

That’s still too much horsepower but I would probably buy it if I need to get a new truck.

Could have lived with the NA i4 2.7, was my first choice, but my wife talked me out of it since I tow from time to time.

Drove 22R’s for 11 years, across country, all up and down the West and East Coasts, Southwest, CO and into Baja. Not the fastest thing but got me where I wanted go. Do remember a time when we weren’t so fanatical about our trucks, they were just a means to transport our gear. Now they become a lifestyle statement to show how cool we are to everyone else.

Yes! I hated the 3 blinks that came stock. Who completes a turn or lane change in 3 short blinks.
