If they are guests - meaning people who are not members - what interest would they have in this thread? Minature farm equipment, spectacular woodworking, the weather?

The majority of my driveway was clear because of the wind but where it decided to pile up, it did a stellar job of it.

Just got done snowblowing the end of the driveway. Sixteen inches deep, 3 feet wide and the length of a 3 stall driveway. Looking at the neighbors driveways, they all have about 1/4 what I did.

And for the record, it's -6, feels like -23.

For those that haven't moved the snow that the plow leaves at the end of the driveway, it's like shoveling rocks.

I’ve noticed random stuff like this in threads too. Just not at 0300 in the morning lol. I’ve always wondered what Google search lead them to my build thread, the 50+ thread, etc. it’s kind of creepy to think there is that many “voyeurs” hanging out.

 

I'm a moderator on another forum and unless they group them differently here, the majority of those "guests" are bots from Google, Bing, etc. that are indexing everything on every page so when you do a search, the results will show up. Otherwise it would be like walking into a parts store without a reference book and hoping you grabbed the right oil filter - you might get lucky but probably not.

I think there were a couple hundred bots at the time. I was thinking of asking tcbob but why bother the man unless absolutely necessary.

 

Is it just me but if you're on the thread and 20 others are too then how come your not the 1 member and 20 lurkers?

 

Random people or random bots just hanging out “reading” our conversations, still voyeurs lol.

I hadn’t thought about bots, I didn’t realize they registered as “guests”.
