Wasn't about to pay $80 for the lower pulley assembly bracket.. only thing that sucks about buying used kits is slowly buying parts to make it all whole..

There are always work-arounds. This is a good one.

 

Also pretty sure the flat bar thickness I used is a bit more stout than the provided kit one judging from the pictures of the bag components online. Ive sent SCOL too much of my money as is lol. Wasnt too bad, just utilized a cardboard template and got dimensions from that.

 

You are telling me. I also have a spare kit and I finally ordered the parts to complete it because at this point I am just going to sell it. I really regret not ordering them a few years ago.. the waterpipe extension bag more than doubled in price since 2022

 

Shoot.. this picture is worth a couple hundred easily.. I got that same water pipe extension kit as I couldn't find a way to make something myself for the actual extension for the coolant pipe..

Looking back at my orders I've purchased from them almost half a dozen times.. doh

 

Now if only someone with access to a CNC could do something.......

 

I do know one guy that has access but all they utilize material wise is inconel and titanium.. lol

On another note, can anyone recommend a Dyno equipped shop in Houston or near? Want to get a base line and also start tinkering with my hptuners once the time comes..

Where generally are you located?

 

I think so as long as you are able to relocate the Arb manifold. My single Arb compressor w/integrated manifold is in the bottom left of this pic.

 

I work in Richmond but live in Cypress. Relaxing 40 minute drive to and from work on 99. BW8 and 59 traffic for over a decade was way too stressful.

 

I don't know any out that way, unfortunately. I know of PowerFab Auto, and Kozmic Motorsports.

Might be worth it to make a option for the coolant tube spacer for the individuals that buy used superchargers.
