Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Remember that trip past the work shop to the field yesterday. Took some pictures of Mal with the Frisbee. And my little shop in the background.

 

That pup looks like he'd enjoy himself in any setting other than in city limits.

 

That pup is spoiled rotten, she lives on 8 acres WFOY in the mountains of WNC, walks 4 miles a day and gets to play ball and Frisbee another 2-4 more times.
She's in the kitchen eating a frozen sodapup/Kong for breakfast now. Goes with me most everywhere.

 

It’s been that way since I can remember. It doesn’t count the member who is looking at it.

 

I don't really have (or need) heat in the shop. I have a portable heater that I take over to the work if needed. Starting next month, it will be hot, then real hot, then too hot, then go back to real hot, then hot, then December, January and February, where it is chilly at night and 60 during the day.

 

Have we talked about whether or not Murray here and Drew not Drew are buddies? How's your shoveling regiment looking this time a year Murray?

 

How about I don't eat it and show you what I'm not made of.

Edit: I've eaten a lot of stuff, including bugs, but now that "the man" is starting to push it, I'm out.

This year it's been good , we've had the strangest winter in my lifetime. Almost 67 years, with the the rain we've had we should have had about 5 ft of snow. Last year I had 5 .5 ft snow banks from throwing snow that high. It was a slight difficulty because I was nursing a torn rotator cuff. But I got along.I had to hire a couple roof shovelings to keep ice dams down. I don't know Drew, other than the blog. I before retiring I was a service tech for a door and window company.. I got the chance to work and drive in all kinds of weather. I have had to make finish touch ups, and fix many issues with the products we handled.

 

All good I wouldn't admit to knowing him either his Pro only has 4.17 mm more ground clearance than his niece's Fiat Jeep Renegade

 

Well, neither the soup nor Mrs Green offed me (thus far).

Heavy rain and thunder this morning, still 52 degrees so life is good.

 

Guy contacted me about the pressure washer I have for sale, offered me $50 less than asking, I refused. He then ask would I deliver it........92 miles away.

The guys who open (text) a conversation with "what's the least you will take?"...

I always reply with "what's the most you will pay?"

 

Most everything I sell I list it higher than I'm asking for some wiggle room. I like to let people think they are getting a deal. Most of the stuff I sell, I don't need it anyway and I'm happy to see it go.

 

I always throw some negotiating room on the asking price too.

Leading with "what's the least you will take" before even seeing the item hardly falls under negotiating in my book though.

I always loved dickering with the old timer that had thousands of license plates down here, I tried to sell him a few the ones I bought from him to see if he'd recognize them. He never would throw the first number out.
H:How much do you want for them?
M: as much as possible
H: I don't ever throw out the first number
Me: I can't buy it and sell it?!
Hed turn his back on me walking away
Me- high number see if $hit sticks
It never would lol
