I wasn’t gonna buy it. I just like how they look. They’re the closest thing to a Land Cruiser really.

Nah I've always just had little problems here and there, bad breath, swelling that kinda shit... But I've got a few stones in them that have never come out

I've got a specialist appointment tomorrow... Would like to get them removed

From what I've seen that's what someone in my position should do

It would've been great as a kid if my mom spent some time wondering why my breath would be bad at times instead of just telling me to brush my teeth 4x a day but I just got done asking myself that after getting the flu and am here now

Do you know much about how good the suspensions are? They used to win Dakar rallies back in the day.

I never got mine taken out, but I remember it was pretty common for kids in elementary school to be out for a few days because they were getting their tonsils removed. Don't really hear about it much now. I remember being jealous because they would talk about how they got to eat nothing but ice cream for a couple days after.

Yeah, as a child they could get inflamed easily so they just get removed.

It'll be good for ya if they're giving you issues; aren't tonsils just useless anyway?

I got the u bolts in the mail yesterday. Do you know if the exhaust hanger bracket or brake line extensions are really necessary for the CS190r leafs?

Supposedly filters for the body before the esophagus... Except mine aren't even able to be forcibly cleaned (at least by myself) they're jam packed full of shit that hasn't come out since I was in the 5th grade (last time i could remember something coming out of them) and I've known that as normal till I learned what a tonsil was last week

You don't wheel, so no as far as the brake line goes.

But if it was my truck, I'd get the brake line (it's only $30-40) and super easy to install.

As for the exhaust, I cut mine.

Was before I replaced the line; was dealing with a transmission pan leak at the moment.

if you lift the rear you should do the brake line extension. Why risk over stretching the brake line when the rear flexes, it's an easy enough mod to do. Bleeding the brakes afterward is the bigger pain imo

then should definitely do it, can't be that much more for a rear brake line install and brake bleed.

But to each their own, I did put off putting the extension on mine when I was beating the hell out of my truck the first year I had it. But looking back that was pretty dumb, just extend the line

The Montero is not a Pajero Evolution... The Pajero Evo is a homologation car, designed for racing primarily and had enough features and safeties put in so it could be legally sold to the public to fit the rule set of a production vehicle in racing... but primarily designed to race in Dakar.

I got mine out at 17.
I had to beg to get them removed, it was no longer 'common' so insurance didn't wanna pay.
I even tried to get my dentist to take em out when he pulled my wisdom teeth.
I had mono on/off for like a year; habitual strep too; lots and lots of antibiotics; they turned white and fuzzy [so gross] and they finally caved.
Missed like 1/2 my senior year.

I haven't been on antibiotics since I got them out!!

Good luck + hopefully they will just agree to do it.

Yep this is where I'm at with my doctor, well youve obviously got an infection but you're on antibiotics already so just keep taking them, you'll be fine.

The exhaust extension will be required but also won't work haha, the exhaust is too rigid, just lop it off. Also longer brake hose is a must with those leafs.

    So frustrating..
I blame the insurance system as it is 'cheaper' to just give you antibiotics in the short term vs just taking them out; doctors get conditioned by this and kinda give up.. As if perpetual antibiotics are good for you.

    Are you seeing an ENT?
If not, perhaps it is time to 'escalate' the situation..
That is who takes those things out.

My mom didn't help things - I had to advocate for myself at that point; went to all the appointments alone because she couldn't be bothered.
