What have folks done to protect plastic interior of doors and dash from abrasion?
Passenger paralyzed leg is scraping the winter heck out of my lower door, speaker, and below dash on passenger side.
I found some blow-molded door covers but they only protect upper areas from dogs, not helpful to lower areas.

Do the press-adhesive vinyl/carbon fiber fabrics adhere and mold well?

    Thanks.

Most of us just live with the fact that our door panels are made up of old candles and chewing gum.
Just avoid getting sunscreen on them, that shit turns the panels green.

Only deet based. It's hard on all plastics. Picardin type product is fine.

If you're not using Deet, you might as well... [insert some BS machismo comparison]

I almost added "Deet" to my original post, but second guessed myself.

Good rule of thumb, avoid using chemicals on the plastic... Goof Off as well.

Go to a local sign shop. They have availabilty of a load of materials that might be what you need AND they'll do a nice job too. Ask your local dealer who they use for their vehicle graphics.

Amazon delivered a 3M labeled vinyl fabric today. Cut a test strip and determined it has no adhesion on door interior. Then tried on smooth clean plastic laminate countertop. Nope. Back it goes.
So much for the product adverts of resigning entire dashboards.

Will check out the sign shop idea.
