And again, you're forgetting the fact that they do that with the Colorado too and its CV shafts are still intact.

 

That’s a fair assessment, but engines have already exploded on those out in the wild.

And like, I always said, if you give me the keys to something, I can break the CV axle for you in 10 minutes.

You would think with how high the price is that they would at least put a litte better tire on them.

 

It should be able to handle everything they threw at it. In durability testing they push these engines at max load on the dyno way past the strain these engines see in a simple quarter mile. This is just a bad look for Toyota. Members on here have beaten on their trucks harder than tfl does. Hopefully it’s just bad QC that can be remedied and not a fatal design flaw.
