Correct. Someone on FB is running 285/75/17 and he says they don't rub anywhere either.

Man that is a beautiful truck! We need more pictures like this but from the front corner and side please!

Edit: I’ve been waiting for this thread (it needs to be stickied). My ‘24 OR in Underground is supposed to be here in less than a month so I need some ideas from others before I pull the trigger on wheels and tires.

That is one nice looking truck. Color looks pretty close to my alma mater. [IMG][IMG]

I love how he has the balls to drive public roads with only a 1/4 turn.
I have no sway bars or abs on my 80 series and often wonder if that could hurt me in a court room. The not being able to turn thing is a whole different level….

I am getting a TRD Sports 24' Taco. What is the most aggressive bigger size of tire BFG k02 I can install to replace the stock tire 265/65/r18? Can a 285 fit without rubbing without any modification on the suspension or should I stick 265?

Ah, I was really hoping for a 0 offset, but that was probably too much to ask. Whenever I do eventually move to a 4th Gen, I'll need to account for new wheels.

It doesn’t look like many wheels for the previous gens will work with the 2024+ Tacomas. It’s pretty certain the Ray 10’s -10 offset in my garage won’t.

I mean they will work. However they will poke out about 2.5 inches over the stock wheels.

There is still a center hub spacer, and new 14mm splines needed. This also assumes the spline lug key will fit.

It might be possible, but it’s really not worth it to me.

2.5 inches seems like a lot for -10 offset. Why so much?

Will Tundra wheels fit the new Tacoma?

We were able to measure a few and we found that the Pro and the Trailhunter have wider flares. The +00 will better suited for these models (depending on your taste). I think tall skinny's (255/80R17) might fit well on non Pro/TH with 17x8.5 +00. The 8.5 +00 has a good amount of poke with 285's. See grey truck below.

If anyone takes delivery on a 4th gen and wants to run 17x8.5 +00 shoot me a PM. I'll hook you up with a big discount on either of our styles in exchange for a little content.

Because the new stock offset is +55. I’m not sure what the wheel width of the Ray 10s in question are, but let’s assume they are 8.5” wide. By my calculations they will be 2.99” wider PER WHEEL than the stock ones. I’d assume that’s a poke of about 2 inches - ish outside the fender flares

Feel free to check my work and play around with this tool yourself.
