    Got home from work
Found this note on the Taco

I’m only 9months in as far as being a Taco owner, is this common occurrence for seasoned owners?
    Thanx

    So....

How much you want for it?

It always amazes me how comfortable some people feel walking on someone else property.

Personally, we should all call the number with an inquiry. I'm thinking 2600 phone calls should do it.

Could ask him "what's the lowest" he'll go on that camper I posted :anonymous:

Surely 2,000 different people from all over the US offering him $1,000 might make him believe it's only worth as much

I've never gotten a note, but I have had a couple people stop in front of my driveway while I'm working on it to see if I'd sell it
I'd say you'll have to get used to it!

A few additions to make me feel cool.
I got 5-10 notes on my 86 square body a year. My wife calls it my note collector. Everyone is a buyer until you throw out a price. LOL... I always reply, "well, its a minimum 5 digit number that must include a comma and start with at least a 3. It's all fun and games until someone shows up with cash and a trailer.

My 99 has had quite a few notes on it over the years... It's pretty beat up body wise these days, haven't had any in a while.

could put a Rejection Hotline number as as FS number
    Rejection hotline options.
605-475-6968: The original, standard rejection hotline. A man’s sarcastic and humorous monologue rejects the caller and tells them to forget the person who gave them the number.
719-266-2837: Love Hall & Oats? This number goes straight to an answering service that lets the caller pick a Hall & Oats song to play.
888-447-5594: An easter egg monologue congratulating the caller on finishing the video game “God of War.”
206-569-5829: A simple, recorded message that tells callers to leave a brief message. This is connected to The Loser Line, a radio station in Seattle that records and often airs these messages.
646-926-6614: The Mary Sue Rejection Hotline, reserved specifically for men that make “women feel unsafe.” Whether they call or text, the hotline gives back a rejection about how the person should “learn to take no for an answer and respect women’s emotional and physical autonomy.” The TMS Rejection function even waits an hour to text the person back to decrease the chances of confrontation.

never had on on the tacoma, have had guys knock on my house front door asking about my old 90 toyota truck. and have told the guy who keeps showing up inquiring about my 67 F100, id never sell it to him, because he strips them for parts.

wonder if this guy is like the guys who buy every like 86-95 Toyota truck and take them down to MX and sell them every summer there are massive Toyota pickup trains being driven from Oregon down though Cali and into Mexico

    Reserected from the dead.
Happened to us a a half dozen times. Wife has '98 standard cab 4x 4. She only drives it 2-3 times a year...if that.

    I had an extended cab 4 x 4 v-6 1998.

I was changing the oil in the drive. Had a guy stop by and ask if I needed an exhaust. He just totaled his same truck and wanted to know if I was interested in his Borla stainless exhaust he just put on it. Said I could have it for $400.

I said no thanks. A new exhaust is only $150 and I don't need stainless.

He Asked if I'd offer anything for his exhaust?

Said " I'll give $75". In central Michigan, not very many 1 St gens running around. He knew he better take the offer.

I used that exhaust on the '98 and it now on the '04.

Pretty much anywhere an auction exists, there are people pipelining it. Some entrepreneurs are a little more, uh, ambitious than the rules of the road normally allow.
