Right now, I have the following set up:

Bilstein 5100's with top lift (2.5)
    Stock coil springs
    Total Chaos UCA
6" BDS Lift Kit (Spacers) 6 Inch Lift Kit | Toyota Tacoma (05-15) 4WD – BDS Suspension (bds-suspension.com)
    20 x 12 Arkon Lincoln Proper Directional wheels with -44 offset ARKON OFF-ROAD Lincoln 20x12 -51 | K10120208345 | 2014 Toyota Tacoma (arkonoffroad.com)
    35 Tires

The truck feels STIFF on the front suspension. Very RIGID. I'm starting to have problems with outer tie rods ends, sway bar links and other suspension components.
I want to know your wise opinion so that I can put things right for once.
What set up should I use in the 5100's with de OEM coil springs?
Further on I will upgrade to Fox Coilovers or a more economic ones like Rough Country. (Link below)

    Fox Shock Kit: 05-23 Toyota Tacoma 4wd & 2wd Prerunner, Front Coilover, 2.5 Series, Remote Reservoir, 5.80″, 4-6″ Lift, DSC – AccuTune Off-Road (accutuneoffroad.com)

    Vertex 2.5 Adjustable Coilovers | Front | 6" | Toyota Tacoma 2WD/4WD (05-23) | Rough Country

Please Help me with your knowledge.

Why, oh why do you have a 6” lift? And especially why do you have a 6” lift on a 2wd prerunner? My solution to your problem change it back to stock.
One more question - why did you post this same exact post word for word on 3 different forums?

You're having all these problems because the truck is not designed to be lifted 6 inches

Stacking lifts and extending shocks all the way to the top notch will always result in a shitty ride

I see you have a prerunner. If you are dead set on a 6 inch lift look into MaxTrac lift spindles for the front. That will get you a few inches of lift through a modified spindle/knuckle and helps you keep the stock tie-rod angles.. and then you don't have to rely on a spring and block to get you 6 inches

You'll get a lot of scorn on here for a ridiculously tall lift and for good reason. It's dangerous, impractical and ruins a well designed independent front suspension. Keep reading and researching..

The clip on the 5100 should not be above 0 clip. It will ride much better once it’s set back.

Anything more than a 3" lift, you're going to have a bad time. You're going to throw money at everything since parts are going to wear out fast, plus stacking lifts is just absolutely dumb.

bring it back down to 3" and you'll solve many of your problems.

If you must have an 8" lift then sell the truck and go buy a Tundra or something else.

I had the 3 inch suspension lift before but I wanted something different for the street. I dont do off road with this truck. I have another truck to go offroad. I respect and understand your opinions. I just wanted to know your recomendations on this particular build so that I could have a little bit better riding expirience with it. I will try to lower the clip from the 5100's to see if it works better. I know I will get a lot of scorn on here for a ridiculously tall lift but I understand. Its just the way I want this particular truck to look. If you guys have any other advice or recommendatios please let me know. And thank you all for your answers.20230212_181440.jpg

You goofed, should've went with lift spindles. Ditch the billies up front and get the fox's. Should smooth out the ride up front

The drop bracket lift and spindles you currently have retain similar LBJ mounting points (relative to stock), where the lower control arm/lower ball joint (LCA/LBJ) mount to the bottom of the spindle (knuckle).

    upload_2024-2-29_12-33-8.png

The other lift spindles that were recommended are designed to give 2wd trucks a front suspension lift without the drop bracket by lengthening the main arm portion of the spindle and changing the LCA/LBJ mounting point. Notice in the photo below, the bolts below the tie round mount behind the wheel bearing.

    upload_2024-2-29_12-35-3.png

This design gives 2wd trucks a significant lift without altering the suspension geometry nearly as much as a drop bracket lift, nor does it require as much work. TBH, it's a much easier lift that keeps 2wd truck components from wearing out as early.
(And for reference, it is 2wd only - the CV axle shaft of 4wd trucks would normally mount through the large open hole you see into the wheel bearing.)
